Terms of Service
Last updated: August 17, 2026
By using Standin on the website or through the separate Telegram interface, you agree to use it lawfully and only with media and likenesses you have the right and permission to use.
1. Product surfaces
The primary website flow lets a secure guest actor create a private watermarked preview from the provided Action Hero scene and, when a website Stripe offer is configured, purchase access to the clean version of that exact result. Telegram remains a separate native rendering experience. Purchases, credits, actors, and entitlements are not shared between these surfaces.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and meet the age of majority applicable where you live. Standin does not accept images of minors.
3. Your media and explicit consent
Before uploading for a web render, you must explicitly acknowledge the current consent notice. You confirm that you own or have permission to use the supplied face and scene, understand that the media will be processed to make the requested result, and will not use Standin for non-consensual, deceptive, exploitative, illegal, or abusive impersonation. Opening a page or bot, selecting a scene, or sending a file does not itself constitute consent.
4. Prohibited use
You may not use Standin to create, obtain, or distribute content involving:
- minors, in any context;
- non-consensual, sexualized, exploitative, harassing, or defamatory material;
- fraud, deception, abusive impersonation, or a false impression of endorsement;
- media or likenesses you do not have the right and permission to use; or
- anything unlawful in your jurisdiction.
Uploads are subject to safety and abuse controls. Standin may refuse intake, reject media, remove results, limit access, or suspend an actor for policy violations.
5. Website previews and availability
When web intake is enabled, the configurable default allows up to three successful watermarked Action Hero previews per secure guest actor in a rolling 30-day window. Only an actually available preview consumes that successful-preview allowance. Separate actor, network, upload, rejection, duplicate-media, concurrency, hourly, daily, cost, and operator controls may refuse or delay intake. The service does not guarantee an instant result or continuous availability.
6. Website purchase
If the website unlock offer is configured, the amount and currency are shown before Stripe Checkout. One confirmed order covers only the clean version of the exact result bound to that order. It is not a bundle, subscription, reusable credit, different-result entitlement, or Telegram entitlement. The browser cannot choose an amount or Stripe Price, and a success-page redirect does not grant access; Standin requires Stripe's valid signed webhook confirmation.
7. Refunds, reversals, and failed delivery
Standin does not promise automatic refunds, automatic replacement renders, or approval based only on dissatisfaction with a successfully produced result. Payment failures, refunds, and reversals can be represented in the order record. A confirmed-purchase issue is reviewed under these Terms and Stripe's applicable process. Contact support if a confirmed clean result cannot be accessed during its displayed availability period.
8. Private delivery and retention
Web previews and clean results are private and actor-bound. Paid download access uses a short-lived capability. Media expires after the deployment-configured period displayed with the result, or earlier if you delete it. Order, consent, and safe operational records may remain after media cleanup under their separate retention settings.
9. Changes and availability
The service is provided "as is." Standin may change, suspend, or discontinue features, allowances, scenes, or checkout availability. Material updates to these Terms will be reflected on this page.
10. Contact
Questions, support requests, and misuse reports can be sent to @standinmebot. Avoid sharing private media in a public channel.
