How to run it at a corporate event

1. Email attendees a week before: "we're running a fun face-swap activity at the off-site — opt in by replying with your consent." Collect opt-ins.
2. At the event, set up a corner with a tablet or laptop open to the bot, with a coordinator walking people through the initial render.
3. Each adult attendee uses their own device and private session, explicitly consents, and controls their own upload and result. Do not use a coordinator's shared session.
4. Collect the clips at the end of the night, stitch them into a recap reel, share internally the next morning.

Tips for a smooth event run

• Send the opt-in email early — the week before, not the morning of. People who opt in on the spot are less likely to follow through.

Can we use a colleague's photo for a corporate event face-swap?

Only with their explicit consent. The bot requires the photo to be uploaded by the person whose face is being used, or with their clear written permission. Most teams send a pre-event email: "we'll be doing a fun face-swap activity — opt in by replying with consent."

Is Standin GDPR / privacy-compliant for corporate use?

Yes, with a few caveats. Standin keeps uploads and rendered outputs only as long as needed to deliver the result, then deletes them. For corporate use, you should still send a clear privacy notice to attendees before the event and collect opt-ins. The Privacy Policy has the full retention and deletion flow.

How does it work for a 50+ person corporate event?

Each adult participant must use their own device and private flow. Standin does not provide a shared kiosk, organizer batch upload, affiliate account, or group entitlement.

Can we use the rendered videos in a company recap post?

Standin's website can create a private, visibly watermarked Action Hero preview when intake is enabled. A clean-result unlock is offered only when the website Stripe offer is configured, and its current amount is shown before purchase. Telegram is a separate native flow without external payment buttons.
